Dear Praying Friends,

We just finished a wonderful week of preaching from the Word of God. We hosted the Caribbean regional meeting of the FBF. Dr. Paul Hawkins, Dr Clarence Sexton from Crown College, Dr. Rod Bell from Tabernacle Baptist Tabernacle and Dr. John Vaughn from Faith Baptist Church Taylors, SC (our former Pastor and sending Church) were the main speakers and 6 men preached from the different islands also. Their fervor and zeal touched many of us here. There was a real moving of the Spirit and the Lord was glorified. Many pastors went back to their islands refreshed and blessed by the preaching.

Opal and I are learning Spanish. She is a little ahead of me, as she had Spanish in High School and a lot of it is coming back to her. During the conference we had a Dominican couple to stay with us and it was a real blessing. We also had to put to practice what we had been learning. This couple was well educated and knew the Spanish grammatical rules and idioms. Since Opal took 4 years of German from me while at Maranatha, she would try to slip in a few German words, which created a few laughs.

We had a nice meal with Pastor Vaughn and Pastor Crawford and enjoyed the fellowship. Then on Saturday morning we had breakfast with Pastor Crawford and the Borah's in a rustic little restaurant on the beach overlooking the ocean.

Hopefully next week all will be back to a semblance of normality with our regular responsibilities and work. Thank you again for your prayers.
